English Bulldog Puppy Adoption Health Guarantee

Please read and initial each of the following:

_____Full Moon Bulldogs guarantees that the puppy sold is in good physical health on this day of purchase. All age appropriate, necessary shots and de-worming have been given to puppy.

_____The purchaser agrees to take this puppy to a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 72 hoursfor a health check at their own expense in order for health guarantee to become valid. Full Moon Bulldogs must be informed immediately of this examination. Should the puppy be determined to be unfit for purchase due to illness, disease or congenital disorder, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the seller, the puppy may upon presentation of a written diagnosis from said veterinarian, be returned (along with AKC papers and current health records) for another puppy of equal value by the seller.

_____Should a problem arise from the aforementioned examination, the Buyer/s agree to provide lab report/s and/or x-ray information from Buyer/s veterinarian to Seller’s veterinarian and to bring puppy to Seller’s veterinarian for a second opinion.

(Problems excluded from health guarantee: Parvo Virus (unless symptoms appear within 7 days of purchase), Distemper (unless symptoms appear within 7 days of purchase), Corona Virus (unless symptoms appear within 7 days of purchase), Demodectic Mange, Elongated Soft Palate, Entropian, Cherry Eye, Dry Eye, Hip Dysplasia, Urethral or rectal Prolapse.

_____If results of health examination warrants replacement of puppy, then replacement will be provided by the Seller from available stock on hand of comparable quality to the puppy purchased. Buyer/s acknowledges that it may be necessary to wait for a comparable puppy from the Seller’s next available litter. The Seller, however, retains the option of refunding the Buyer/s purchase price rather than providing a replacement puppy.

_____Should replacement of puppy become necessary, he/she will be returned to Seller immediately upon verification of illness/disorder along with his registration application or certificate which has been transferred solely to Seller.

_____Buyer must be aware that if choosing to ship a puppy may be at risk for Coccidia and Kennel Cough which is common in puppies that are shipped and usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self limiting and like the common cold, it must run its course. Full recovery is expected and Kennel Cough on its own is not life threatening.

_____Buyer agrees to use kennel name “Full Moon” on the AKC registration, preferably in the beginning of the name.

_____Full Moon Bulldogs offers a replacement guarantee on our puppies up to 1-year of age. If the puppy develops a congenital or hereditary life threatening disorder, we will replace the puppy with another puppy of same sex, breed and equal value at our first opportunity provided the conditions below are met by the owner of said puppy. This puppy is guaranteed until (1) year of age against fatal and life altering congenital and genetic diseases of the following: Cancer, spinal disorder and congenital heart conditions of a severe life threatening or altering nature. We do not guarantee your puppy for hip or elbow dysplasia, mange of any kind or any other condition that can be treated and recovered from unless your puppy dies from it and purchaser pays to have an autopsy to ascertain reason. If reason is congenital and genetic, seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value within one (1) year.

_____Buyer will offer this puppy back to breeder first if ever in need of placement.

_____If puppy dies, a replacement will be offered providing the buyer has a veterinarian necropsy report which indicates that a congenital defect was the cause of death. Buyer pays all shipping costs involved in obtaining replacement puppy.

_____Buyer agrees to provide routine veterinarian care for this puppy, including proper vaccinations, routine worm checks, heart worm treatments, and records of such care should buyer have to return puppy for replacement.

____Buyer understands contract will be void if buyer fails to provide routine veterinary care, if puppy is sold, transferred or injured by accident or neglect. This guarantee does not cover any common puppy ailments such as worms, vitamin deficiencies viral bacterial diseases or disorders brought on by parasites or common traits in a Bulldog such as: Cherry Eye, Entropia, “loose” hips or skin allergies (such as démodé tic mange).

_____Full Moon Bulldogs will not be responsible for veterinarian fees or costs. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means regular trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all payments.

_____There is no guarantee or warranty that the buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy regardless of show or breeding potentials.

_____This contract is valid only for the original buyer and puppy, and is not transferable.

_____Buyer agrees _____ Buyer does not agree to allow Full Moon Bulldogs to use photographs of myself and/or family for use of posting on their website.

I, the buyer, have read this contract and understand fully the contents thereof and acknowledge receipt of this contract.

ANY EVIDENCE OF ABUSE OR NEGLECT WILL VOID THIS CONTRACT.

CONCLUSION

Herein this contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, Clark County. All mediation, litigation and/or law suits shall be conducted in Clark County, State of Washington and/or City of Yacolt, Washington. All complaints shall be in writing and sent to Full Moon Bulldogs. This constitutes the complete contract between both parties

A price will be determined upon whelping when health and conformation are evaluated.
This deposit is understood to be NON-REFUNDABLE except in the following circumstances:
- Full Moon Bulldogs is not able to provide a puppy to buyers from this litter
- The requested sex of the puppy is not available
Buyer understands that any remaining balance is to be paid in full by puppy’s age of six weeks and there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this stipulation. (Initial here)_________________

Although deposit will not be refunded, buyers can choose to “reject” a pup from this litter and let their deposit be applied to the next upcoming litter. However, they must acknowledge by initial the understanding that it may be as long as a year—or possibly longer—before another litter occurs.(initial here)_______________ The buyers will in this case have first selection after Breeder of any pup in the subsequent litter. Also, if price of pups is higher in the subsequent litter, buyers will only be charged the price of the pups at the time they made their deposit.

However, if buyers decide not to show pup after purchase then Breeder will require pup to be neutered (spayed or castrated) before “signing off” of papers.

***ATTENTION: BUYERS WILL ACKNOWLEDGE BY INITIAL THAT THEY UNDERSTAND THAT ANY PUP PURCHASED “AS A PET” WILL BE SOLD UNDER LIMITED REGISTRATION. That means that AKC will not register any puppies produced by that male or female puppy (dog/bitch). Selection of pups will be based primarily on Breeders knowledge and experience and by pictures of pups via email at regular intervals. **Selection will be expected to be made no later than 5 weeks of age.
