We hope that everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July. It's that time of the year again that we like to take a moment to remind everyone that while adjusting to the heat for us humans can be challenging, for Bulldogs it can be life-threatening! Remember that adding ice to drinking water can encourage your pet to drink on hot days. Bulldogs, long walks and heat do not go well together but instead is a recipe for disaster. Make sure that if you work and your pets are home alone during the day to keep his/her area well ventilated with air conditioning or fan. If you typically keep your pet in a crate when you are gone it is like putting your loved one in an oven. The same goes for leaving your pet in a car in 70 degree weather with windows cracked. If the sun is shining your car will heat up inside very quickly. Our dogs love the hard plastic kiddie pools to play and splash around in. Cool wet towels can be helpful in cooling down your pet too.
We have many planned litters in the next 2-6 months so be sure to visit our website for more information www.fullmoonbulldogs.com.
Have a wonderful summer!
Kindest regards,
